Majoring in Graphic Design with First Class Honours. His rigorous work as a designer brought him immense success and respect of his contemporaries, working with top flight blue chip agencies internationally.

Having worked previously in the public sector, Mark is responsible for the performance and development of the Organic Search proposition which includes an overview of client objectives, strategy and performance. Mark manages the SEO technical and strategy for HB1 Web Langkawi, to find solutions to performance issues and strategies as well as opportunities for growth. Mark is responsible for ensuring we are at the cutting edge of Organic Search in line with Google’s ever evolving algorithmic updates and heads up our SEO research and development function.. He also leads reporting using Google Analytics 360 and Adobe Analytics (previously Omniture).

I’m a tinkerer. From 2D and 3D animation to compositing and motion capture; copywriting to storytelling, I've learned to always be adaptive in an industry and a specialty that is ever-evolving. I gather inspiration from the projects that elicit emotion – thoughtful shots, the perfect soundtrack and one-of-a-kind stories.

For several years now, I’ve specialized in package design and brand worlds, particularly for various perfume brands.

With a background in fine art, a keen eye for crafting typography and a strict attention to detail, I bring a fresh perspective to the wide array of projects we have in studio. Through visual storytelling and designs that forge strong emotional connections, I seek to engage audiences on a human level.

Coming from a multi-disciplinary background, I have worked on a spectrum of projects: from brand identities right through to experiential marketing and advertising. This has set me up to tackle any design challenge with lateral thinking and a sense of humour.

What I love most about working as a designer and my role at HB1 Group is seeing a project through from start to finish: from initial sketch to the highly crafted final design. It's so satisfying to work as part of such an enthusiastic talented team.

After graduating from the Academy of Art’s graphic design program, I pursued a career in web design.

One of my pet peeves in branding is cool-looking design for the sake of looking cool. Which is why thoughtfulness in design is a big motivator for me. I do my best work when I can build a strong rationale behind my design decisions. Although, I have to admit that I’m guilty of buying wine because of the look of the label.

Carole is one of those rare female web designers with a passion for front-end web developing skills — using tools like jQuery and mootools. She’s been working in the field since graduating from Art College in 2004. Carole is also a back-end programmer using (HMTL, CSS, PHP, etc).

In every challenge, I can find the fun. Over the past 5 years, I’ve worked in several design disciplines from industrial to packaging to graphic design. I’ve collected all of these special skills like woodworking, ceramics, metal working, vacuum forming, and 3D modeling, and I love when a project comes through the door that allows me to put some of these to use.
